Periodic Table Classic v3.2 - 주기율표 프로그램

교육과 관련된 프로그램은 아마도 처음 소개하는 것 같습니다.
제가 화학과는 아니지만, 1학년 때 화학수업을 듣고, 사이트들 보면서
화학과 관련된 좋은 소프트웨어들도 많이 있다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
Chemoffice라는 프로그램이 상당히 유명한 것으로 기억됩니다.

이 프로그램은 주기율표 프로그램인데, 각 원소들의 자세한 자료들을 보여주는 것 같습니다.
화학을 전공하시는 분들은 이미 알고 계실지도 모르겠습니다.

일단 프로그램이 세가지 버젼이 있습니다. Standard, Extra, Mini 이렇게 있는데,
자세한 내용은 아래있습니다. 그리고 모바일 유저를 위한 pda용도 있는데,
해당 사이트에 방문하시면 좌측에 other version을 누르시고
이용하실 수 있습니다.(아래 다운로드 링크는 Extra버젼입니다.)



처음 프로그램을 실행하면 나오는 Main 화면입니다.
상단에 여러가지 메뉴가 있고 바로 아래 주기율표가 보이고 있습니다.
오른쪽에 나누어져 있는 부분은 상세한 정보가 나오는 부분입니다.

Graph 메뉴에서는 각 주기율표에 있는 원소들의 녹는점이나 밀도 등의 각 특성들을
그래프화해서 한눈에 볼 수 있습니다.

Search 메뉴는 검색을 위한 메뉴인데, 이름을 넣어서 검색을 하거나 특성만을 가지고 검색을 할 수 있습니다.

Atomic Radius 메뉴는 2가지 대상물에 대해서 반경을 그림으로 비교할 수 있습니다.



위의 화면은 Atomic Structure 메뉴를 눌렀을 때 나오는 화면입니다.
원자의 구조를 그림으로 표현하고 있고, 우측에는 상세한 설명이 나옵니다.



Media 메뉴의 경우 해당 원소의 이미지가 수록되어있습니다.
가스형태의 경우 봐도 별로 도움이 안 될 것 같지만, 고체형태나 액체형태의 경우
사진이 잘 표현되어 있어서 색상이나 특성을 기억하는데 도움이 될 것 같습니다.

지원하는 언어에 아직 한국어가 포함되어 있지 않기때문에 사용상 어려움이 있을 수는 있지만,
상당히 유용하게 쓰일 수 있는 프로그램 같습니다.

The application contains all the elements of the Periodic Table along with images of the elements in their natural state, as well as lots of other information and interactive displays.
The periodic table now comes in three versions. They all contain the same amount of information.

 * Standard Version
    Designed to be used on desktops set to 1024x768 or better.

 * Extra Version
    This is identical to the Standard Version except it comes with 155 high resolution images
    of the elements in various physical states.  
 
 * Mini Version
     This version contains the same smaller images that comes with the standard version,

     in eight different languages. Unfortunately there is just too much text for me to translate
     (95000+ words).
