여러 종류의 문서파일을 PDF로 변환하는 프로그램입니다. 프린터 드라이버 형태로 추가하여 이용하기 때문에 문서의 형태를 거의 가리지 않습니다. 프로그램을 실행하여 설정을 변경할 때에는 제어판의 '프린터 및 팩스'에 가셔서 등록정보를 열고 설정을 하시거나, 인쇄버튼을 누른후에 프린터 등록정보를 수정하시면 됩니다.
위의 화면은 doPDF 프린터 등록정보의 화면입니다. 기본적으로 한글로 메뉴가 구성되어있고 단순해서 조작하는데는 어려움이 없습니다. 용지 크기는 A4부터 A6 및 Letter 등 여러 가지를 지원하고 있으며, 임의로 지정도 가능합니다. 해상도는 72~3200dpi를 지원하고 있습니다.
기본적인 이용법은 한글이나 워드를 열고 프린터를 doPDF로 선택하신후 인쇄 버튼을 누르시면 파일을 저장할 위치를 지정하는 창이 나옵니다. 창을 지정해주면 파일로 변환되어 저장이 됩니다. 프리웨어이기 때문에 추가적인 기능이 없습니다. 하지만 같은 회사에서 제작한 novaPDF의 경우 워터마크 및 인증기능을 추가적으로 이용가능합니다. (유료 프로그램이기 때문에 구매를 안하시면, 제작한 pdf에 프로그램에서 지정된 문구가 삽입됩니다.)
p.s. doc 파일의 경우 한글언어도 문제없이 잘 변환이 되었지만, hwp파일의 경우 글자의 일부분이 깨지는 현상이 있는 것 같습니다. 대신해서 사용 추천하는 프로그램은 PDF-Pro 독도 사랑 1.0 입니다.

doPDF5.2 installs itself as a virtual PDF printer driver so after a successful installation will appear in your Printers and Faxes list.
